Trilophonic
One of my many passions is jazz and blues music.
It always fascinates me how over the years that music has always managed to throw my emotions into turmoil.
The power that music has to move the soul reminds me of my visits to Stonehenge, and the aura that surrounds this ancient stone circle.
I have tried to fuse the emotive power of music with the enduring, organic life of the stone. The rhythmic sway of the stone pierced by the sax captures the inner essence of the music.
This piece stands approximately 36 inches tall and is made from sandy clay. It has been exhibited at Cork Street Gallery, Mayfair and the Barn at Ruislip.
